CLM Tracing via EDI

 

Car Location Messages (CLMs) automatically update order status so dispatchers can see what is available.  When you receive an “Off-flat-car” trace, for example, the

 

 

load’s status changes to “Grounded”.  Other updates, such as a Notification, marking a load delivered or marking a container emptied, will all update the equipment tracking function until the equipment is finally terminated.
