Rates: Any Way You Want

Your own Rate Sheets are stored for fast access and easy reference. Here we have a Rate Look-up screen. By providing an origin, the system has displayed all rates from this origin to all destinations. We could have been more specific and supplied a destination also, but in this case, we didn’t.

If you use Owner Operators, Point-to-Point Rates are what you pay your drivers. These rates can be either 1) Mileage-based, 2) Flat rates or 3) Percentage of Revenue Rates. Rates can be one-way or round-trip.

Quotes: (a.k.a. Repetitive Order Patterns)

Quotes, are the prices you charge your customers. In their most generic form, they represent your tariff. You can also have quotes specifically for particular customers

and specifically for a particular customer’s repetitive moves. Typically, you would set up patterns or Quotes for your customers’ repetitive moves so your order entry process is simplified and speeds along each time you receive the repetitive order. Quotes store the billing addresses and the Pick-Up locations and / or the Delivery locations.

Quotes can help you establish pricing based upon your expected costs as shown below.

“Quotes” (a.k.a. order patterns) are used to define all aspects of potential orders including billing addresses, shipper & receiver and the price to be charged to the Broker and more.

These “patterns” are used over-and-over again saving research time and error, speeding the highly accurate order entry process.
