Key People

McKinney Consulting is the result of combining Christopher McKinney's business analysis, organizational management and user-oriented design skills with Deborah Scheirer's highly technical systems analysis, software design and programming skills.

 

Chris McKinney's career has focused upon the implementation of information systems in several types of industrial and professional organizations.  Prior to McKinney Consulting, Chris managed installations of large scale, information systems throughout the United States.  This led to the management consulting and custom system design engagements that became stepping-stones for the establishment of McKinney Consulting.  Chris earned a BS degree in Operations Research from Villanova University and an MBA degree in Economics from Drexel University.

 

Deborah Scheirer's career has spanned several aspects of technical information systems development.  Debbie has worked on every level of the software spectrum from developing operating systems and writing compilers; to developing database management "engines" and programming languages.  When this breadth of experience is brought to the task of business system application development, the value in Debbie's experience proves itself, everyday, through the systems McKinney Consulting develops.  These systems stand the test of time, showing they are well designed and they support the current and future needs of the highly successful businesses that use them.  Debbie holds a BS in Mathematics from Bethany College (Summa Cum Laude) and an MS in Computer Science from Drexel University.

Company History

Chris McKinney’s management consulting skills and his ability to analyze businesses operations laid the groundwork for establishing McKinney Consulting Inc.  His gift of being able to organize work flows, define tasks, methods and procedures to achieve the highest level of overall efficiency and profitability for an organization has earned McKinney Consulting a track record of successes.

 

McKinney Consulting Inc.’s work with Intermodal Marketing Companies stretches back to 1986 when they started to develop the system that became the predecessor for the current ADVANTAGE: product line.  From the work with “Shippers Agents,” as they were called back in 1986, to some of the most profitable Intermodal Marketing Companies today, Chris learned a great deal about the Drayage Business.  With this knowledge and understanding of the Drayage business and recognizing the opportunity that existed to help Intermodal Trucking Companies, McKinney Consulting began developing their system for Drayage Carriers in 1997.
